World Cup XCO Racer, Emily Batty, found a new goal to aim for during a year when Covid-19 lockdowns forced the cancellation of most races. She completed a 1000km ride across Iceland with her husband, Adam Morka, Chris Burkard and Erik Batty. The route they took was previously thought to be unrideable, but they managed to conquer it. This video is a superb 14-minute summary of their bikepacking adventure, which shows incredible landscapes as they push through some formidable natural challenges.
