How do monthly members unlock discount codes that are available to longer-term memberships?
Our system keeps a record of your membership duration. As a monthly member, you unlock discount codes after six months and 12 months of active (uninterrupted) membership.
How do I receive my discount voucher codes?
Your discount voucher codes will be emailed to you each month and will be based on the level of membership you are on.
Can I use my discount voucher code to purchase partner brand products in a brick-and-mortar store?
No, all our discount codes are only redeemable with online purchases.
Does my discount voucher code include a delivery discount or free delivery?
Your discount voucher code is only for the purchase of the product or service. It doesn’t apply to delivery. Most purchases will have an additional delivery fee. Partner brands will determine if your delivery is free or not when you make the purchase on their website.
Is there a limit to how often I can use a discount voucher code?
Yes, one purchase per code per member per month. Our system manages this.
Can I give my discount voucher code to a non-member to use?
No. Discount voucher codes can only be redeemed by current members. Misuse of codes will result in membership cancellation and the wearing of a clown suit at your next race/ride.
Will discount voucher codes apply to all products with partner brands?
In most cases, yes. However, if a partner brand is running a sale or special offer, those particular products won’t grant discount code usage.
Will my personal contact information be shared?
No, in line with the POPI act, we will not share your contact information outside of the TREAD Singletrack Society parameters.
How does membership payment work?
When you join as a member of TREAD Singletrack Society, you will be required to complete a form that gives permission to debit your bank account with the relevant membership fee. This is all managed by Paid Memberships Pro, an internationally established and respected membership management system (don’t worry, we did our homework to ensure its legit and reliable).
What online payment system is used to manage my membership fee?
We have chosen Payfast, an established, trusted South African online payment system to manage payments (we did plenty of research!).
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, you can. Obviously we’d prefer you not to, but you may cancel your membership at any time. Simply select this option on your profile. Or send an email to joanne@treadmtb.co.za. Membership cancellation will also void validity of any active discount voucher codes.
Can we cancel your membership at any time?
We can. We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your membership in the event of fraud, abuse of discount voucher codes privileges. No refunds will be made as your membership fees are paid in agreement with our membership protocols. Mountain bikers are generally good humans, so we’re not expecting to do this, but will if we have to.
