Theo Erlangsen and Frankie du Toit got their 2024 season off to the perfect start when they women the Elite men and women’s titles respectively at Round 1 of the Downhill SA Cup Series held at Sabie, Mpumalanga in late January. Results and images below.
Organised by Justin Victor and the Sabie MTB community, the event also doubled as UCI Category 2 race, which offered UCI rankings points for top finishers in the Elite and Junior categories.
