The organisers of the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails are excited to welcome MTO as a partner to the 4th edition of this much anticipated two-day stage Mountain Bike event.

“We truly value our partnership with MTO,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “The Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails will access MTO grounds during Stage One. Our partnership with MTO enables us to improve the route experience of the entrant, thus uplifting the overall experience of the event. Together with MTO’s support we look forward to hosting yet another memorable event.”

A timber products and solutions provider, MTO offers 7300km of forest roads and 250km of purposely built trails, built and maintained in MTO’s working plantations.

According to Lawrence Polkinghorne, MTO Group CEO, MTO is fortunate to be able to partner with five of Stillwater Sports’ events, the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails being one of them. “There is a natural synergy between Stillwater Sports, ourselves and the other sponsors who ultimately share a common vision in offering world class experiences,” says Polkinghorne. “It is satisfying to not only be able to showcase the beauty of the land, but also to give back to the communities who support us in preserving and maintaining it. It is also a privilege to work with like-minded businesses that have a long term view on social responsibility and environmental sustainability.”

“Jonkershoek in particular is a beautiful place,” continues Polkinghorne. “We are hard at work building new trails and guarantee that Jonkershoek will be a world class trail destination. We are committed to responsibly reshaping the African timber landscape and are excited to be part of the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails.”
