More and more South African women are discovering the challenges and rewards of mountain biking. By our estimations 20-25% of mountain bikers are female. But is the SA cycling industry catering sufficiently for up to a quarter of the market? We decided to find out more with the first South African Women’s MTB Survey. If you’re a female mountain biker, please take this survey so we can help inform, among others wholesalers, retailers, event organisers and trails parks how to better cater for women.

The first SA Women’s MTB Survey, developed by female mountain bikers, will take a few minutes to complete, but will give insight into what women want. In a male-dominated industry, there do appear to be large gaps which we would like to help fill to make mountain biking more accessible, safe and fun for women.
