Community consciousness and involvement has been a genuine part of Seeff North Coast’s vision and culture since inception. It is not enough to merely be a respected real estate brand, but also a local business leader, community builder and ambassador. Extending their reach further into community events, Seeff North Coast have added their support to the growth and development of cycling at Primary School level by augmenting the sponsorship needed to develop grassroots Mountain Biking on the North Coast.

Says Tim Johnson, Principal of Seeff North Coast, ‘In addition to fusing a love for bicycles with a passion for adventure, mountain biking enables children to explore the outdoors, connect with nature, spend time with friends and family, and develop confidence and physical literacy. It is also a great way to meet and connect with other families who cycle in the local area. Mountain Biking is one of the fastest growing sports nationally, not only at school level but also in the community as a whole and we are thrilled to play a part in growing the sport in our beautiful area.’

Adds Gill Von Buddenbrock, ‘Having run the Sugar Rats Club for 9 years and with over 20 events under our belts, we felt it was time to bring something special to the North Coast that was focused purely on children.  Our passion is to see as many kids on bikes as possible, spending time outdoors exploring the magnificent trails on the North Coast.  The symmetry between Seeff North Coast and the Sugar Rats is so aligned that we could not be happier to be in partnership with such a family orientated organisation.’

To this end, Seeff North Coast is excited to announce their involvement with Sugar Rats Club and Elite Eventures to launch the inaugural Seeff North Coast Primary Schools MTB Lap Series. Targeted specifically at children aged from 7 years up to 13 years of age who want to get onto bikes to enjoy a fun, family orientated morning out, this Series of cycling events is being hosted at 3 different venues during the months of February and March on the North Coast. Each event in the Series has been designed to provide a different cycling experience, which will also assist the participants with their training for future events on the KZN MTB calendar. Each event will have medals and spot prizes and there is also a free under 5 years of age cycling Zone. These events will occur on the following dates and venues:

16 February 202 – Umhlali Preparatory School

01 March 202 – Ashton International College

15 March 2020- Seaton Estate.
