The 2023 edition of Darkfest, presented by Monster, was the most incredible big-jump fest in, well, ever. Most of the world’s best Freestyle and Slopestyle pros gathered at Hellsend, just outside Stellenbosch for a week of what can only be described as insane bike riding. This 24-minute highlights video delivers all the best tricks as well as many of the falls, or bad landings, confirming that even the best on the planet get it wrong sometimes, especially when they’re trying something that’s never been done before! It includes Tom Isted’s world record 120-foot backflip and the brave women doing top to bottom for the first time. It’s been segmented into highlights for each of the 25 riders, including the seven women and is an absolute feast of talent, courage, chaos and adrenaline!
