This past weekend was somewhat historic for South African mountain biking. Our XCO ace, Alan Hatherly finished third at the UCI Elite World Cup at Leogang, Austria. It was Hathlerly’s best ever finish in an Elite World Cup and the first time a South African has secured an Elite Men’s World Cup top 3 finish since 2012 when Burry Stander had a third, second and first place World Cup finishes.
