It’s actually a bit ridiculous. But that’s probably why it’s so compelling! The Red Bull Valparaiso Cerro Abajo is the world’s fastest urban downhill race. The 2023 edition took place in the Chilean town of Valparaiso this past weekend. The winner was Tomas Slavik, who injured his ankle in qualifying and was barely able to walk. Anyway, he brushed off the pain of what was later discovered to be torn ligaments and laid down a blitzy run to secure him his third title. This 2min30sec video is his POV of his winning run. It’s truly insane!
