For the first time, women were invited to Darkfest, the world’s most prestigious big-jump event. They’d never been faced with such huge jumps, but as you’ll see in this video, they crushed any early apprehension. Also in this video are the early runs of the men, who were still trying to nail some sick tricks, but not always succeeding, resulting in some spectacular tumbles! It’s quite something that Darkfest is held in South Africa, confirmation of our country’s standing in world mountain biking – in all disciplines.
